Some of the other products developed under the EDI brand are: coextrusion feedblocks that are adjustable on-line and provide variable layer sequencing multi-manifold coextrusion dies mechanisms for rapid width adjustment internal deckles that minimize edge bead formation in extrusion coating lay- er-multiplier tooling that yields microlayer structures fi lm dies that eliminate tradeoffs between uniformity and melt fl ow and multi-layer fi xed-lip slot dies. The global EDI team consists of 350 employees. Today manufacturing facilities in the US, Germany, Japan, and China support the brand, as do sales and technical service staff located in these and other countries.
